Na plenerach malarskich nad oceanem mam szans\u0119 zaj\u0105\u0107 si\u0119 jej kontemplacj\u0105. Takie sesje s\u0105 prawdziwym docieraniem do g\u0142\u0119bi powi\u0105zania cz\u0142owieka z natur\u0105 w jej najpierwotniejszym kszta\u0142cie. Bez wody nie ma przecie\u017c \u017cycia. To w oceanie zacz\u0119\u0142o si\u0119 biologiczne \u017cycie. Z wody sk\u0142ada si\u0119 w wi\u0119kszo\u015bci nasze cia\u0142o, nasze DNA, nasz m\u00f3zg. W warstwie formalnej podchodz\u0119 do malowania wody na kilka sposob\u00f3w. Cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 moich prac to do\u015b\u0107 realistyczne studia fal oceanu. Mo\u017cna zakwalifikowa\u0107 je do tradycyjnego malarstwa marynistycznego. Te obrazy by\u0142y mi potrzebne do wnikni\u0119cia w natur\u0119 motywu wody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kontempluj\u0119 wod\u0119, odbite w niej \u015bwiat\u0142o, refleksy zdefragmentowanego s\u0142o\u0144ca, wariacje na temat nieba, fale k\u0142\u00f3c\u0105ce si\u0119 z wiatrem, a\u017c do piany, niesko\u0144czony horyzont oceanu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cz\u0119sto rodzi si\u0119 z tej symfonii abstrakcja w milionie odcieni b\u0142\u0119kitu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tu odnajduj\u0119 dobro, prawd\u0119 i pi\u0119kno. Bo o to chodzi w sztuce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water is a significant theme in my work. It is perhaps the main motif in most of my paintings.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During plein air painting sessions by the ocean, I have the chance to engage in its contemplation. These sessions are a true exploration of the deep connection between humans and nature in its most primal form. After all, without water, there is no life. Biological life began in the ocean. Our bodies, our DNA, and our brains are mostly made up of water. We are connected to water by a prehistoric umbilical cord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel the need to paint water, and I also feel the need to invite water to co-create my art. In many of my paintings, especially the smaller ones painted outdoors, the ocean\u2019s water sometimes sprinkles the canvas with its breeze, leaving streaks according to its own design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series “Painted with Salt Water”<\/em> is co-created by the ocean\u2019s water. These works carry within them particles of the entire history of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of technique, I approach painting water in several ways. Some of my works are quite realistic studies of ocean waves. These can be classified as traditional marine art. These paintings were essential for me to delve into the nature of the water motif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other works lie somewhere between realism and abstraction. For those unaware of where they were painted, the presence of a seascape might not be so obvious. The color of the water and sky, as well as the nature of a unique moment by the ocean, are captured in a formal, simple, and synthetic composition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, I allow water to influence the form of the work. I embrace chance. Water has the right to leave its mark on the canvas, as long as it conveys my intention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I contemplate the water, the light reflected in it, the fragments of the sun, the variations on the sky, the waves clashing with the wind, all the way to foam, the endless horizon of the ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this symphony, an abstraction often emerges in a million shades of blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, I find goodness, truth, and beauty. Because that is what art is all about.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
